Shipping Terms, Conditions & Customer Policy

This document outlines the terms, conditions, and legal policies governing the use of services provided by Real Express Shipping JA (hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, submitting packages, requesting shopping services, or engaging any of our services, you (“the Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

1. Scope of Services

Real Express Shipping JA provides international freight forwarding and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping packages from the United States to Jamaica

  • Consolidation and forwarding of online purchases

  • Shop-and-Ship services on behalf of customers

  • Product sourcing upon request

  • Customs clearance facilitation (where applicable)

We ship items purchased from online retailers such as Amazon, SHEIN, Temu, and other approved e-commerce platforms.

2. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information for shipping, including full name, contact details, delivery address, and item description

  • Ensure that all items shipped are legal for importation into Jamaica

  • Review and comply with Jamaica Customs regulations, duties, taxes, and import laws

  • Respond promptly to requests for invoices, receipts, or additional documentation

Failure to comply may result in delays, additional charges, seizure, or forfeiture of goods.

3. Prohibited & Restricted Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from shipment through Real Express Shipping JA:

  • Illegal drugs or narcotics

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons

  • Counterfeit or pirated goods

  • Hazardous materials, flammable items, or chemicals

  • Pornographic or obscene material

  • Live animals or perishable goods (unless expressly approved in writing)

Restricted items may require special permits or approvals and are shipped at the customer’s sole risk.

4. Shop-and-Ship & Credit Card Use

Where the Company agrees to purchase items on behalf of a customer:

  • Customers without a credit card may use the Company’s card

  • A JMD $500 service fee per transaction applies

  • Full payment for items, shipping, duties, and fees must be made in advance

The Company is not responsible for retailer errors, stock issues, or warranty claims.

5. Customs Duties, Taxes & Fees

All shipments entering Jamaica are subject to:

  • Customs duties

  • General Consumption Tax (GCT)

  • Environmental or other statutory fees

These charges are not included in shipping fees unless stated otherwise and are the responsibility of the customer.

6. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience only. Delays may occur due to:

  • Customs inspections

  • Airline or shipping carrier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Incomplete documentation

Real Express Shipping JA shall not be held liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.

7. Loss, Damage & Liability

  • Packages are handled with reasonable care; however, shipping involves inherent risks

  • The Company’s liability is limited to the val
